On the Floor – Matchess and Olivia Block at Red Bull Music Festival Chicago

Whitney Johnson is a Chicago-based artist who conjures enchanting experimental electronics as Matchess. This year she released her fourth full-length, *Sacracorpa*, and she performs here as part of the Drone Activity night at the Red Bull Music Festival in Chicago. Also on the bill is Olivia Block, a media artist and composer whose body of work includes site-specific sound installations and sound design for film, and much more. In this session, she performs an unhurried drone set on orchestral instruments.
