On the Floor – Lil Mofo at Red Bull Music Festival Tokyo

Tokyo native Lil Mofo is a prolific DJ who can be found spinning in clubs around the Japanese capital several times a week. Having quietly built up a reputation as a seasoned digger and a passionate record geek in Tokyo, she picked up a radio show on NTS during a stint in London and contributed a cassette mixtape to Will Bankhead's Trilogy Tapes imprint. Since returning to Japan, Lil Mofo continues to bring her special blend of dub- and reggae-inspired dance tracks with dynamic speeds. In this session, Lil Mofo makes the club bounce and the crowd shriek with a slew of infectious early UK jungle and garage tunes at the closing night of the Red Bull Music Festival in Tokyo.
