On the Floor – Kaan Düzarat at Red Bull Music Festival Istanbul

Istanbul-based Kaan Düzarat wears several hats. As FOC Edits, he released a string of edits of local psych and club classics; as Pair of Dirty Shoes and Shrimpy he dives further into connecting the sounds of Detroit and Istanbul; and as part of the trio Falso, he blends dub and Turkish psych. Aside from that, he runs his Vesvese imprint, works at Istanbul radio station Dinamo FM,ands DJs in various venues across the city. In this session, Düzarat jumps on the decks at the afterparty of the Art of B-Movies night, with a set inspired by classic soundtracks from B-movies and the Turkish musician Gaye Su Akyol, who was a guest at the showcase.
