On the Floor – Gudrun Gut at Red Bull Music Festival Berlin

Gudrun Gut is a musician, DJ and label founder. A fateful move to Berlin in the mid-'70s led to her role as a key figure in the then-burgeoning punk scene. Then, as part of Malaria!, she and her bandmates achieved international new wave success with their 1982 EP *New York Passage*. Gut was also around when the techno movement washed over Berlin, so she created her female-forward record label, Monika Enterprise. In this session, Gut performs at S3ktor Uf0, the party celebrating three decades of techno in Berlin, a story she has lived through.
