Best known as part of a pioneering crew of house DJs, the Hot Mix 5, Crosby blended the uplifting harmonies of gospel music with bumpin’ house beats.He also released music as part of the group Master C & J on Trax Records, and as a solo artist on his own label, Get Down Records, in the late ’80s and early ’90s.
