One of the original founding fathers of ghettotech, Detroit’s x-rated underground sound, DJ Godfather has been one of the most diligent purveyors of Detroit-bred electro funk and techno-bass hybrids. Over the years, DJ Godfather has not only helped transform ghettotech into a globally acknowledged phenomenon, but he's also created no less than four platforms for the genre’s OGs and emerging talent alike: Twilight 76, Databass Records, D.E.T. Only and Juke Trax. The same bridge-building approach that has helped him connect genres, local scenes and generations also sees him using his gritty vibes on remixes for well-established acts like Diplo, Dizzee Rascal and Lil’ Jon. In this session, DJ Godfather is back at Movement to fire up his triple-x-rated dancefloor anthems.
