On the Floor – Chino Amobi & Johnny Utterback at Beyond the Clouds

Johnny Utterback is a Richmond, Virginia-based musician who is part of NON, an electronic music collective that uses web-savvy visual art and experimental sonics to discuss contemporary African diasporic identities. Utterback’s work is primarily within abrasive sound design and club deconstructions, with the majority of his available work online being recordings of live performances, and he often collaborates with NON co-founder and fellow Richmond-based producer, Chino Amobi.
