Carla dal Forno is an Australian singer, songwriter and musician whose sound is imbued with a hazy, gothic intensity. She started out in cult Melbourne band Mole House and created the Fingers and Tarcar projects before going solo — she's released her debut album, _You Know What It’s Like_, on the macabre British label Blackest Ever Black. With a disarmingly glacial voice and swathes of downbeat pop and dubby post-punk hooks buried in the sonic ether, dal Forno uses texture and space to shape sound.
