The Paris-based producer debuted with the airy, percussion-driven *Cellar Door/Piste Jaune* 12” in 2015, and followed it up with the more melodic *I.M.O. (Icy Moon Orbiter)* EP for Fragil Musique just a few months later. Beyond that, the young Frenchman makes regular appearances on Rinse France, but he’s otherwise largely remained in the shadows. Regardless, he’s already proving that inventive applications of bassweight aren’t limited to the UK. In this session, Simo Cell brings his broken, bass-laden sound to Foligno, Italy's Dancity Festival.
