Born and bred in South London, Maleek was influenced by iconic R&B and soul acts like Michael Jackson, Jodeci, Boyz II Men and Tevin Campbell. He sang in church and subsequently formed a group with two of his friends where he honed his performance, writing and production skills.
His 'Last Daze of Summer' EP won him global success, with more than 50 million streams of the underground hit 'Kontrol'.
