Keita Sano hails from the Japanese city of Okayama, but his prolific output of songs exploring the limits of house and techno have reached listeners all over the globe, released by imprints such as New York’s Mister Saturday Night and Canada’s 1080p. His father’s love of jazz influenced Sano’s music sense, while his older brother not only exposed him to electronic styles but also gifted him his first MPC1000, which he used to craft his first tracks.
