Main Stage – Equiknoxx feat. Shanique Marie at Roskilde

Dancehall group Equiknoxx, AKA Gavsborg, Bobby Blackbird Shanique Marie, Time Cow & Kemikal, are based in Kingston, Jamaica and have been making music for the better part of a decade. In 2016, Gavsborg and Time Cow released the debut Equiknoxx album, *Bird Sound Power*, a collection of experimental dancehall riddims dating from 2009 to 2016, on Demdike Stare’s DDS label. Only a year later, the collective followed up that critically acclaimed debut record with *Colón Man*. In this session Shanique Marie, Time Cow & Gavsborg stop by Roskilde Festival to fire up the crowd with their wonderfully weird live show.
