Born in Kiev but raised in Chicago, Alinka was exposed to the legendary house sound of her adopted hometown through local radio stations — she was instantly hooked. After honing her skills as a DJ at Smartbar, she met a kindred spirit and found a fruitful musical partner in Shaun J. Wright, the former Hercules and Love Affair vocalist. Since 2012, the pair have collaborated on several records such as their *Matters of the Heart* EP and *Walk Into the Unknown*, released on their own Twirl imprint. In this session, the label boss goes back to the roots of Chicago house in a jacking set at Reworks.
