This month, Vladimir Ivkovic pays tribute to French DJ and music obsessive Alexis Le-Tan, whose disco edits are the stuff of legend. He has reshaped vintage gems via the Les Edits du Golem imprint since 2007; around the same time, Permanent Vacation tapped him (along with co-conspirator Jess) to put together the much-loved Space Oddities compilations, which collected rare European library grooves from the late ’70s and early ’80s. More recently, Le-Tan teamed up with Joakim and III-Studio as Full Circle, another edit-based undertaking devoted to celebrating choice selections from the original Goa sound.
