It doesn't get more Detroit than Norm Talley, Waajeed and John "Jammin" Collins. Talley has been producing and DJing devastatingly funky deep house for decades. Waajeed exemplifies Detroit's genreless tendencies, known for his work in hip-hop (he was an original member of Slum Village), house and techno, and all points in between. On this special episode of the Soul of Detroit, recorded live from our Detroit studio ahead of this year's Movement festival, John Collins brings these Motor City originals together to riff on the city's unique blend of sounds, rounded off by a special DJ mix from Talley.
