Interdimensional Transmissions returns to the airwaves for a special week of episodes dedicated to some of the deepest Detroit stories. BMG and Erika kick things off with a visit from James Pennington, AKA Suburban Knight, a key yet criminally underrated figure in techno. His 1987 debut single "The Groove" was the third record released on Derrick May's Transmat label, and he released a string of records on Underground Resistance in the '90s — his output since then has been far too infrequent. Live from our Detroit studio, Pennington and IT will dig into some of his signature productions and play through a selection of key inspirations behind his studio endeavors.
