UK-born Berliner Spencer Parker discovered a love of house music while clubbing in Croydon, before it was dubstep's ground zero. After working in record stores and aggressively servicing his gold-painted mixtapes to any promoter and club owner who would listen, his career took off. Now the selector's carefully curated nine-hour sets and Work Them Records' releases are in demand around the world. In this episode of Honey Soundsystem, Parker tells Ms. Jackie House about why he prefers beginning-to-end sets, revisits his early stands at iconic London nightclub Ministry and catalogs the worst souvenirs from countries he's visited.
