Jackie House recorded this month’s episode of Honey Soundsystem in Hanoi, Vietnam, on a stop on a month-long tour that's brought the San Francisco party crew to tropical mountain raves and illegal after-hours joints all over Asia. Charting the collective’s sleepless course from Beijing to Hong Kong, he shares a blissfully oceanic selection of electronic tracks from the region — mostly by artists he met on tour — that gradually progresses from delicate ambient fare to bangers for the wee hours. “One thing is for sure,” says Jackie House. “The sound of the underground in these parts of the world is rich and lush, and so is the next two hours, which will be filled mostly with producers working out of China, Thailand, Vietnam and Taiwan.”
