A New Yorker based in Berlin, Phase Fatale is a producer who explores contemporary techno through the prism of industrial rock and electronic sounds using rigid drum programming, sharp synthesizers and cinematic samples. In 2016, he released two EPs on Jealous God, one EP on Ostgut Ton sub-label Unterton and worked on a live collaborative show with dark techno artist Silent Servant. In 2017 he released his debut album, _Redeemer_, on Hospital Productions, followed by his _Reverse Fall_ EP on Ostgut Ton in 2018. In this episode of Headphone Highlights, the producer presents a selection of wave, industrial and post-punk tracks which influenced his gnarly techno sound, from Haus Arafna and Dead Can Dance, to the Cure.
