Perera Elsewhere is a self-taught electronic-music producer whose work has evolved over various multimedia collaborative projects and solo releases. Originally a member of Berlin-based Jahcoozi, a dubby pop group on Ellen Allien’s BPitch Control label, the London-born musician released her debut album, *Everlast* on Los Angeles experimental hip-hop label Friends of Friends, where she explored a sensual style of electronic pop with artful twists and a blues underbelly. With several more releases on FoF, having collaborated with the likes of Gonjasufi, and with remixes from Hype Williams and Maria Minerva, Perera Elsewhere’s sonic repertoire continues to expand into the ether.
