Kiki Hitomi is a Japanese musician best known as the singer-songwriter for experimental bass explorers King Midas Sound (alongside acid ragga producer the Bug and poet Roger Robinson), and as part of the dubstep-noise duo Dokkebi Q (with fellow Japanese artist Goh “Gorgonn” Nakada). She released her 2016 debut LP, *Karma No Kusari*, on Jahtari, a mix of cosmic dub, crunchy dancehall riddims and floaty Japanese vocals that oscillate between the melancholy of Japanese enka and the vibrations of Jamaican reggae. Hitomi is also part of the Science Ninja team WaqWaq Kingdom, and released a tape with Noinonoinonoino on Caoutchou Records.
