Electronic producer and vocalist K Á R Y Y N is an American of Syrian and Armenian heritage. Born in Alabama and raised in Indiana, she spent her summers in the Syrian city of Aleppo and moved to Los Angeles with her family when she was ten years old. Her travels have informed her musical outlook, drawing from far and wide for inspiration — her original music is a celestial blend of disembodied vocals and electronic soundscapes that take from avant-garde pop, classical and modern R&B. Folding in white noise, ambience and dynamic sound design, with a strong visual component, K Á R Y Y N creates multimedia collaborative works that touch on personal themes.
