Headphone Highlights – Chancha Vía Circuito: Querida Familia

Hailing from Buenos Aires, Chancha Vía Circuito is a producer and DJ who draws from traditional Latin American folklore and musical styles, minimalist dub studio techniques and indigenous vocal chants and drumming patterns to create a fusion of downtempo electronica and digital cumbia. He has released original music largely on two labels, Argentinian staple ZZK, and Wonderwheel, a Brooklyn-based label that focuses on contemporary Latin American diasporic sounds.
