Amber Mark has settled in New York City after a childhood traveling the world with her German artist mother, a painter in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition who passed away in 2013. Her mother's loss reshaped Mark’s life — through the grieving process, Mark wrote and recorded her 2017 debut _3:33 AM_. Blending sounds of samba, soul, pop, R&B and smooth jazz, Mark's sound is warming and familiar; her voice is a friendly presence, a balancing act of youth and wisdom. In the spring of 2018 Mark released her _Conexão_ EP, drawing on her love of Sade to create blissful, romantic songs.
