When the conversation turns to electronic music, Australia rarely gets its fair share of attention, but that hasn’t impeded Melbourne native Tornado Wallace from turning out a steady stream of quality records in recent years. Now based in Berlin, he combines bits of house, disco, new age, ambient and Balearic into a uniquely hypnotic sound that somehow still works on the dancefloor. With his debut full-length, *Lonely Planet*, released via the Running Back label, Tornado Wallace speaks with host Shawn Reynaldo about the new album, his influences and his homeland. Also popping in for a chat is veteran Berlin techno producer Redshape, who discusses his latest 12” on Delsin, the various projects he has in the works and, of course, his infamous red mask.
