Although their distortion-laced creations once made Raime the perfect outfit to kick off the Blackest Ever Black label, the young London duo has bravely streamlined its moody sound for its latest LP, Tooth. This week, the pair will talk with Shawn Reynaldo about the album, the group's revamped lived show and taking stylistic cues from '90s post-rock and post-hardcore. Also stopping by for a conversation is British-born producer and Houndstooth affiliate Marquis Hawkes, who's topping off recent run of EPs with the project's first full-length, Social Housing. Elsewhere, there will be new music from the likes of Robert Hood, Cassy, Nite Jewel, Dan Lissvik, Mr. G, DVA Damas and Gerd, along with offerings from labels Planet Mu, Dekmantel, Downwards, Clone Royal Oak and more.
