With the electronic music landscape becoming increasingly crowded, most artists attempt to find success by focusing on a single sound, style or vibe, hoping to carve out their own unique niche. Physical Therapy isn’t most artists. Over the course of his career, he’s dipped his toes into a variety of different sounds, turning out quality tunes without ever taking himself – or the scene’s many unwritten rules – too seriously. Now back in New York after several years in Berlin, he talks here about the differences between the two cities and also fills us in about his new album _It Takes a Village_, which finds him offering up a variety of different sounds while operating under nine different aliases and collaborations over the course of 11 tracks.
