With host Shawn Reynaldo still stationed in Brazil during the final days of the Red Bull Music Academy Festival São Paulo, we once again seize the opportunity to dive into the local electronic landscape, this time with the help of Selvagem. Aside from being one of the city’s most respected DJs, this duo has been throwing parties for years and has also released a number of records, including an outing for Tim Sweeney’s Beats in Space label. Here, they shed some light on the burgeoning electronic scene in São Paulo, explain their “wild” artist moniker and share some of their plans for a new label focused on Brazilian dancefloor sounds. Also joining the program is longtime Ostgut Ton affiliate Nick Höppner, who shares cuts from his new *Work* LP and talks about the relationship between his old job and his work as an artist.
