As usual, host Shawn Reynaldo presents the week’s best new electronic offerings — he’s also lined up a premiere from the upcoming FaltyDL record on Hypercolour. Elsewhere, he chats with Berlin-based producer Mor Elian, who reflects on her Israeli origins, the decade she spent in Los Angeles and her latest EP, _Fairplex Drive_, which arrives this week on Delta Funktionen’s Radio Matrix label. Also stopping by for a chat is Arlen Dilsizian, cofounder of the hotly tipped Nyege Nyege Tapes label. With the imprint’s first vinyl release – a reissue of last year’s _Sounds of Sisso_ compilation – dropping this week, Dilsizian breaks down the label’s origins and philosophy while shedding light on the dynamics of the music scene in Kampala and beyond.
