The PAN roster is full of genre-bending acts, but few of them deconstruct bass-heavy club rhythms quite like M.E.S.H. Following his brash and cinematic debut album _Piteous Gate_, he’s put together something a bit more nuanced for his second full-length, _Hesaitix_. Here he discusses the LP’s genesis, his fruitful relationship with PAN and the evolving relationship between techno and bass music in Berlin. Also joining the program is DJ Spider, a prolific New Jersey artist whose hardware experiments with house, techno and ambient sounds – under a multitude of different monikers – have earned him the respect of underground selectors from around the globe. With his new _Wire Head_ EP arriving this week on Radio Slave’s Rekids Special Projects imprint, he talks about his many musical personalities, his love of collaboration and the changing face of New York City.
