When people talk about electronic music in the UK, our thoughts often first drift toward the so-called hardcore continuum that has spawned jungle, drum & bass, grime and numerous other styles of low-end-centric sounds. However, while those bass-centric rhythms have left a particularly distinct mark on electronic music, the UK has also been responsible of plenty high-quality house and techno offerings over the past few decades.
