As we move into the final stages of summer 2018, the number of new electronic music releases has tapered off a bit, but there’s still more than enough to make this week’s episode an exciting proposition. Host Shawn Reynaldo surveys all of the best new offerings, and also premieres a new track from Dutch producer Legowelt’s upcoming _Omnibus Babylon_ EP for Clone West Coast. He’s joined by Belgian-born, Berlin-based producer Locked Groove, who discusses his recent prolific streak and forthcoming EP _The Gate_, while also examining how new beat and trance have influenced his sound. Also joining the program is Hiro Kone, a NYC-based experimental artist whose latest full-length, _Pure Expenditure_, will soon arrive via Dais Records. Here, she talks about her relationship with techno (or lack thereof), how she approaches live sets and her collaborative relationship with former Coil member Drew McDowall.
