Stockholm’s Studio Barnhus label is often lauded for its diverse range of dancefloor sounds, as well as its founders’ infectiously lighthearted approach toward music and, well, life in general. Kornél Kovács is one of the imprint’s three bossmen, who started DJing and hanging around record stores long before he was old enough to actually go to clubs. With his first full-length, *The Bells*, set to drop, the Swedish producer will be talking with First Floor host Shawn Reynaldo about the album’s genesis, his hometown’s music scene and why his latest record shares a title with one of the most storied techno tunes of all time. Veteran German producer Tensnake also has a new EP surfacing this week, and he’ll be popping in to discuss his return to club sounds following the pop flirtations of his 2014 album, *Glow*.
