Previously known as the first American artist to be signed to the venerable Dial label, John Roberts has now launched his own label, Brunette Editions, which is issuing his latest album, *Plum*. The LP finds Roberts taking a turn away from standard house and techno rhythms, and he’ll be discussing this new direction with host Shawn Reynaldo, along with his unorthodox plans to share his latest productions in a live setting. Also appearing is LA duo DJDS, AKA Samo Sound Boy and Jerome LOL. The Body High label founders (and surprise Kanye West collaborators) will be stopping by our Los Angeles studio with an update on their current endeavors, the city’s role in their music and their unexpected engagement with the pop sphere.
