Dub has a storied tradition, albeit one that’s largely rooted in Jamaica and its global diaspora. Nevertheless, the music has touched upon shores all around the world, even in Greece, where Athenian producer Jay Glass Dubs has spent the past several years taking a unique approach to the genre. Here he elaborates on that approach and also talks about _Epitaph_, his new album for Bokeh Versions and first proper full-length after years of dropping cassettes, EPs and other releases. Other than that, it’s First Floor business as usual, with host Shawn Reynaldo highlighting the best of the week’s new electronic music offerings, and also presenting an exclusive premiere off the upcoming collaborative EP from Danny Daze and DeFeKt on the former’s Omnidisc label.
