Dutch-born producers Martyn and Steffi both have impressive solo careers, but a chance meeting on a bus in 2010 led to a friendship and, eventually, a new collaborative project they dubbed Doms & Deykers. Partially inspired by their early club and rave experiences during the 1990s in the Netherlands, the duo began creating melody-infused bits of house and techno, and now, following the release of a couple EPs, they’ve finished a debut LP, *Evidence from a Good Source*. Here, Martyn and Steffi speak with host Shawn Reynaldo about their working relationship and detail how their new album came to fruition. Also popping in is veteran Montréal producer Marc Leclair AKA Akufen and Horror Inc. Given that this year’s Academy in Montréal is about to come to a close, we wanted to make sure and have a chat with one of the city’s electronic elder statesmen before we left town.
