With First Floor stationed in France as part of this year’s Red Bull Music Academy Festival Paris, host Shawn Reynaldo takes advantage of the chance to speak with some of the city’s brightest electronic talents. Chloé has been a part of the French electronic scene for the past two decades, but with her third full-length, *Endless Revisions*, set to drop next month on her own Lumière Noire label, she pops in to discuss its genesis and reflect back on how the local scene has evolved over the years. Also appearing is Krikor Kouchian, whose electronic music activities extend back to the French Touch scene of the late ’90s. Since then he’s dabbled in a number of different genres, but his new album for L.I.E.S., *Pacific Alley*, offers a gnarled take on the boogie-funk sounds he first encountered during a childhood stint in Southern California.
