One of Germany’s most prolific hardcore and techno producers, Frankfurt’s Marc Acardipane, AKA The Mover, has released dozens of records under a head-spinning roster of nearly 80 aliases since the early ’90s. He formed the influential early hardcore label and music group Planet Core Productions in ’89 with Thorsten Lambart, and went on to cover vast musical ground, releasing hard dance tracks that would crossover into the pop charts, as well as raw underground records that experimented with drum & bass, techno, hardcore, ambient and hip-hop. Something of a misunderstood and underrated figure in the history of European techno, Acardipane is back with his first full-length album as the Mover since 2002: _Undetected Act From the Gloom Chamber_, on his own Planet Phuture label.
