Japan-born, Paris-based artist Ryoji Ikeda is best known for his large-scale multidisciplinary installations. Exploring the detail and texture of sound, and transforming the visible and invisible data that permeates our contemporary world into audio and visual works, he elaborately orchestrates sound, visuals, mathematical notions and physical phenomena into immersive experiences. As well as presenting these installations and performing music, he’s released solo albums of electronic music since the mid-’90s; the most recent was 2015’s *The Solar System* album and 2017’s *Code Name: A to Z* 12” release.
