Description
When a 21-year-old Linda Perry moved to San Francisco in 1986, she waited tables and played guitar in local bars until she joined the band that would catapult her career: 4 Non Blondes. Fusing the fire and wit of teenage angst with pop and rock guitars, the band's 1992 debut album, _Bigger, Better, Faster, More!_, was an international hit. But Perry craved a darker, more personal sound, and became a solo artist and songwriter. Over the past 20 years, Perry has worked with artists such as Christina Aguilera, Pink, Gwen Stefani, Adele, Courtney Love, Alicia Keys, Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande and Celine Dion, among many others. As well as being nominated for a Grammy Award for Christina Aguilera’s smash hit “Beautiful,” and a Golden Globe for “Girl in the Movies” with Dolly Parton, she was inducted into the Songwriter Hall of Fame in 2015.
