In the canon of neon galaxies, A-Trak runs a tight spaceship. The turntablist turned Kanye West’s tour DJ turned party monster takes his very own and special brand of rave-hop and club music to the road on the neverending Fool’s Gold world domination tour.
The label he formed with partner-in-crime Nick Catchdubs shows party rockers just how it’s done. In what comes close to an anything-goes manner, it relies heavily on the distinguished taste and intuition of their chieftains to figure out what knocks. Playing both sides of the underground/mainstream divide with class and brass is the Fool's Gold forte off and on stage.
