Long-time Red Bull Music Academy contributor David Nerattini, AKA Little Tony Negri, digs deep for a selection of jazz funk jams from the LA HQ. Drawing a trajectory from the late '60s through the '70s and '80s heyday of the genre, David picks out some of the finest examples of stripped-down jazz and improvised funk from the likes of Quincy Jones, Oliver Nelson and David Axelrod, as well as lesser-known names such as Tom Scott, Ernie Watts and Victor Feldman. Hold on to your hats!
