Description
By the time he got his start composing for video games like Cool Spot and The Terminator at Virgin Interactive’s freshly minted games department in the very early ‘90s, Tommy Tallarico had made it his life’s mission to elevate the reputation of video game music as something more than bleeps and bloops. One of only a handful of US video game composers in that era, Tommy fought hard for that respect. Fast forward a couple of decades, and his Video Games Live project would feature some of the world's greatest orchestras performing video game music live in front of thousands all over the world. On this episode of Diggin’ in the Carts Season Three, the larger-than-life Tallarico offers Nick Dwyer some insight into his rise to one of the most notable composers in the US.
