Description
There really is no individual who had more of a hand in shaping the modern video game industry as we know it than Atari founder Nolan Bushnell. After being one of a select few to play Steve Russell's legendary Spacewar! – the first ever video game – while studying at the University of Utah in the ‘60s, Nolan had a vision of the future and was determined to bring video games to the masses. In 1972 he founded Atari and released Pong, which would go on to become the world's first global arcade hit and laid the foundation for the industry’s future. In the third season premiere of Diggin’ in the Carts, Nick Dwyer speaks with Nolan about his remarkable career creating and pioneering a revolutionary new culture of play.
