Phillip Jondo is a Cologne-based DJ who is affiliated with not one, but two absolute pillars of the leftfield dance music scene. He was a resident at the Düsseldorf club Salon des Amateurs and also was one of the first German contributors to London online radio station NTS. Since 2014, he's hosted his monthly radio hour, We R All Egyptians. Last year he cofounded SPA records alongside Cologne residents France'98 und Friday Dunard, and began releasing tracks as Garland (with Glasgow-based artist Simon Weins). Their second LP, _# 2_, released just this month, shows a return to Jondo's signature dub-inspired sounds.
