Merachka is a Detroit-based DJ, producer and vocalist who is closely affiliated with Intangible Records & Soundworks, the imprint run by fellow Detroit legend Terrence Parker. Disguised as a nod to Underground Resistance, Merachka's identity remains unclear, but the music speaks for itself. Producing hard-hitting techno with mighty vocals, on EPs like *Open Up Your Spirit* for Defected, *Flash The Light* and *Undergroov*, she has also proven to be a skilled remixer, as on Nervous Records’ *Acid Overlook* EP. In her Choice Mix, Merachka does on a deep dive through peak-time rave sounds.
