All week on Choice Mix, we're shining a light on the DJs who are shaking things up in the Japanese capital. One of those artists is Licaxxx, a DJ active in the scene since 2010. She's the founder of Tokyo Community Radio, a pirate videostream radio that provides a platform for emerging local DJs and is a place of interaction between international and Japanese talent. Her sets draw on the warmer shades and playful sides of dance music, and when she's not behind the decks, she produces ambient music for events.
