Hailing from the Bay Area but based in Berlin, Jamaica Suk is a DJ and producer who got her start in music as a jazz student and bass guitarist. Inspired by minimalist composers like Steve Reich and darker experimental acts like Pansonic and Sunn O))), she blends these influences together into her own style of pulsating, powerful techno. Currently Jamaica Suk holds an artist residency at the notorious Pornceptual events, and she frequents the decks internationally while crushing shifting trends with hard dark rhythms, percussive funk, Detroit, acid and industrial.
