Hailing from Cleveland, Dan Curtin developed his own take on techno with releases on Detroit's (now defunct) 33 RPM/Sinewave, Belgium’s Buzz Records, Peacefrog and many more. In the early 1990s, this purveyor of fine funk found some time to open up his own influential business, Metamorphic Recordings. Flash forward to today, with over 70 singles and nine LPs under his belt, Curtin continues to release on his own imprint, as well as for the likes of Bosconi Records, Blumoog Music and, most recently, on Steffi's Dolly Dubs. In this episode, he dives deep into his high-octane techno sound.
