Andrés, AKA DJ Dez, developed his unparalleled digging skills at Detroit’s legendary Buy-Rite Records store, and in the decades since has had a hand in many of the city’s most important musical moments. Between his time DJing for legendary hip-hop outfit Slum Village, the house records he released on Moodymann’s KDJ label and the fact that he cooked up “New for U” – one of the biggest house records of the past decade – there’s really no denying that Andrés is one of Detroit’s most irreplaceable musical minds. All week he'll be bringing his encyclopedic knowledge (along with a clutch of vinyl gems hand-picked from his expansive collection) into the Red Bull Radio booth to put on a clinic.
